Refund Policy

1   General Principles

IEF’s services are knowledge-based, time-bound and resource-intensive. Significant preparation and effort is invested from the moment a registration is received. Our refund policy reflects this while remaining transparent and fair.

  • All fees are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise
  • Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to IEF’s official email address
  • Verbal or WhatsApp refund requests will not be processed
  • Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment source only
  • Approved refunds are processed within 10–21 working days
  • Bank charges, if any, will be borne by the requester

2   Service-Wise Refund Terms

2.1   Services 

Masterclass

The client needs to make full payments while making a registration only.

  • No refund. Rescheduling at IEF’s discretion.

Online / Offline Import Export Courses 

The client needs to make full payments while making a registration only.

  • No refund. Rescheduling at IEF’s discretion.

Consultation Session

The session fee reserves a dedicated one-on-one time slot with Abhijit Sir. This slot is blocked exclusively for you.

  • Client cancels before the session — No refund. Rescheduling at IEF’s discretion.
  • Client does not attend (no-show) — No refund. No automatic rescheduling.
  • Client arrives 15+ minutes late — Treated as attended. No refund or rescheduling.
  • IEF cancels the session — Full refund OR rescheduling at Client’s choice.
  • IEF cancels with no alternative slot available — Full refund within 10 working days.
  • Technical issues on Client’s side — No refund. IEF is not responsible for connectivity.
  • Technical issues confirmed on IEF’s side — Rescheduling offered. Refund if no slot available.

2.2   EXIM Launchpad 

The programme fee covers 90 days of structured mentorship, consulting, market research, buyer outreach, document support and deliverables as per the agreed scope. 

  • Fees to be paid 100% advance before commencement (after accepting or signing MOU) — No refund. Planning and admin costs incurred.

2.4   Workshops & Webinars

  • Cancellation — No refund 
  • No-show on event day — No refund. Recording shared if available.
  • IEF cancels the event — Full refund OR transfer to next event at Client’s choice.

3   Non-Refundable Items

The following are never refundable under any circumstances: (a) Screening fees once application review has commenced; (b) Onboarding instalment once the kickoff session has been held; (c) Fees for any session or deliverable already delivered; (d) GST paid on any service; (e) Payment gateway or transaction charges.

4   IEF Non-Performance

If IEF fails to deliver agreed services within committed timelines through no fault of the Client:

  • Client must raise a formal written complaint within 7 days of the missed deadline
  • IEF will respond with a resolution plan within 7 working days
  • If unresolved within the extended timeline, IEF may offer a proportional partial refund on the undelivered scope
  • IEF non-performance does not include delays caused by the Client’s failure to submit documents or attend sessions

5   Special Circumstances

In exceptional and documented cases (serious medical emergency, natural disaster, bereavement), IEF may at its sole discretion consider:

  • A one-time programme pause of up to 30 days without fee penalty
  • Transfer of enrolment to a qualifying family member or business partner
  • A credit note valid for 12 months toward any IEF service

Such requests must be submitted within 7 days of the event with supporting documentation. These are discretionary and not guaranteed.

6   How to Request a Refund

6.1   Submit a Written Request

Include: Full name, registered mobile number, payment transaction ID and reason for request.

6.2   Review & Decision

  • IEF will acknowledge your request within 7 working days
  • Review will be completed within 7 working days
  • Decision will be communicated in writing by email

6.3   Processing

  • Approved refunds are credited to the original payment source within 21-30 working days
  • Timelines depend on your bank or payment provider
  • Disputes unresolved through this process may be escalated as per the Terms & Conditions
